Job Description

3rd Line Support Engineer | Remote | £300 | Outside IR35Ive partnered with a client that are looking for a 3rd Line Support Engineer to join them on an initial 6-Months Contract with the likelihood of this being extended. The Engineer will work on exciting projects utilising cutting-edge design and tech, andprovide 2nd, 3rd and 4th line support and engineering across Windows Server, Azure, O365, VMware and Linux OS/platforms.Key Skill Set Requirements of the 3rd Line Support Engineer:

  • Windows Server 2016+ administration
  • Azure/Microsoft 365 administration
  • VMware vSphere/vCenter
  • Linux (CentOS/RedHat/Ubuntu)
  • PowerShell
  • End-user support (both desk-side and remotely).
  • EUD provisioning, maintenance, patching and hardening
  • SSO - concepts and operation
  • Understanding of working in protectively marked environments
  • Any experience with DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache (Nifi, Kafka) would be a nice to have, but non essential.
