1st line support This is a new and exclusive opportunity for a junior IT Operations Analyst/ Support Analyst to join my financial client as they expand their Windows support teamRole details

    • We are currently seeking an IT Operations Administrator who is innovative, collaborative, and driven. You will need to be bright, ambitious with a solid educational background.This role will handle multiple aspects of administration, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting in our global environment. There will be an opportunity to learn about all aspects of our technology footprint, as well as the business, and to grow your skills and knowledge in both breadth and depth.
  • You will be installing workstations, servers, telephony systems and all associated peripheral devices
  • You will be diagnosing and solving faults in both hardware and software
  • You will perform system builds and upgrades
  • You will be supporting core trading and business software deployed on Linux
    • This role will be ideal for a bright, ambitious junior support professional who is looking for a company who invest heavily in their staff.This role offers 2 career avenues, one into operations analyst and technical projects, and one into operations administration with desktop 1st line, 2nd line and hardware workEssential requirements
  • Able to learn new skills and technologies quickly
  • 2+ years experience working with Windows in a system administration capacity
  • Experience building PCs and workstations
  • Experience troubleshooting issues
  • Active Directory and Exchange knowledge and experience
  • Experience with virtualization, DFS, WDS, and WSUS
