Quant Developer - Hedge Fund - £100k to £200k Overview: Algorithmic Trading firm is hiring technologists from any OOP into their talented and highly collaborative tech department. You will be working to build robust, fully-automated technology to predictand trade all electronic financial markets The Role: Automation is central to all aspects of the firm - you will be working on highly optimised workflows on their dedicated CPU and GPU grids allow our teams to solve complex trading problems, including predictingmarket movements and processing large data sets in real time. Here technology doesnt "support the business" - tech is core to the business and sits front and center of what they do. Responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing extremely high-performance,highly reliable and finely-tuned numeric computational programs. Contributing to the design and development of high-performance, distributed systems that enable multi-petabyte data processing. Improving system component performance by refining the underlyingalgorithms, methods of processing and identifying systems bottlenecks. Utilising modern statistical and machine learning methods to develop systematic trading models/algos.
