Our client - one of the most recognised and most loved retail chains in the UK, are looking for an Interim Group Reporting Manager for a 12 month period. They are a real sucess story in recent years having growing exponentially, made acqusitions and also expanding internationally. The last few months have been very challenging due to the COVID pandemic however they are back open and recovering, they are cash rich and very well funded.The Role · Prepare statutory accounts for the group· Develop and maintain accounting policies and internal control framework· Own accounting process for all head-office companies· Deliver smooth month end close ensuring all business units report under group requirements and deadlines· Multicurrency group consolidation· Group cash flow management· Balance sheet reconciliations· Identify opportunities and deliver process improvements, particularly to streamline month end reporting and close processes· Key point of contact for external audit process· Drive the transition of reporting from excel based on to an ERP solutionSkills & Experience required:· Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3-5 years post qualified experience· Accounting practice trained preferredUSGAAP and IFRS knowledge· Group consolidation experience· Experience in retail advantageous£70-75K. Immediate start. 12 Month position Required skills
