Job Description

1- 1 SEN Teaching Assistant- Westminster- Secondary School Speech and Language Base- ASAP Start- £83-95pd

  • 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant required for Westminster
  • 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant required for Secondary School Speech and Language Base
  • 1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant required for ASAP start
Do you have experience working with children with speech and language needsAre you looking for a new roleAbout the roleYou will be working on a 1-1 basis with students with special educational needs that affect their speech and language abilities. You will be working in this mainstream secondary schools additional resource provision for up to 10 children aged 11-18 yearsold with SEN. Your role will require you to be patient, flexible and passionate about education. You will help with interventions in speech and language i.e. practicing phonics, teaching methods of non-verbal communication i.e. PECS and Makaton. This rolewill be full-time during term time- Monday to Friday 8.30am-4pm.About the schoolThis school is part of an excellent academy that believes that education liberates and sets young people up for future successes in life.
