Warehouse Apprentice | United Kingdom | GB11742As an apprentice, youll earn as you learn, combining practical on-the-job training with study towards a relevant qualification. Our programmes are challenging but rewarding and youll be supported every step of the way to make sure youre successful.YOUR ROLEOur Warehouse Apprenticeship is a 15 month programme starting 14th September 2020, combining practical on-the-job training with study towards the Level 2 Warehouse Operative apprenticeship. You will work within a successful Logistics operational team while learning everything you need to know to be a successful member of our Warehouse team whilst supported by your peers, your managers, and the apprenticeship team within Kuehne + Nagel.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES* As part of our Warehouse Operations team youll be a key part of the logistics team ensuring that our customer freight is loaded, stored and unloaded in a safe, professional and time effective manner. Youll be learning all about the warehouse operations, health & safety, picking/packing processes and stock systems as well being trained to use the Manual Handling Equipment at our site.* Your apprenticeship will include one to one meetings with your personal tutor and on the job training to enable you to put into practice the skills you are learning* Your working pattern will be Mon - Friday between 8/9 start - 5:30 finishYOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES* Five GCSEs at grades 3 - 9 / A*-D (including Maths & English)* Right to work in the UK* Strong customer service & communication skills (written and verbal)* Strong organisational skills* Resilience and a drive for success* Ability to work as part of a team* A willingness to learn and a want to be the best that you can beGOOD REASON TO JOINWe will expect you to work hard and be eager to learn, but the opportunities are endless for those who do.
