Job Description

Xpertise has partnered with an established and well-respected FTSE 100 aviation firm embarking on a vast data & IT greenfield project moving from legacy estates to AWS, waterfall to Agile methodologies, & a modern big data tech stack. The client is lookingfor several Senior & Lead Data Engineers & Data architects. Please see further details below:Title: Senior or Lead Data EngineerSalary: £50,000-90,000Benefits: bonus + free flights + excellent career progression / promotional opportunities + dedicated training plan + loads moreLocation: West London + hybrid working model (remote)Key tech stack / skills required:

  • Excellent SQL development expertiseTeradata, Redshift and HiveQL
  • Experience using Big Data technologies such as S3/Hadoop, Spark, Hive etc
  • Good knowledge using cloud-based infrastructure and PaaS servicesAWS preferred but would look at Azure or GCP experience
  • Knowledge of EDW design principals, e.g. Inmon & Kimball methodologies
  • Windows / Linux server / container usage would be beneficial
  • Python programming, scripting & automation is desired
  • Snowflake would be a bonus
