The position is based at Heathrow and working as part of a shift-based team Radio Communications Engineer you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance, minor works and installations to the company radio equipment. Candidates wishing to apply must be able to undertake security clearance as you will need an airside pass.NEGOTIABLE SALARY DEPENDING ON SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE, SHIFT PATTERN 4 ON/4OFF PENSION SCHEME, 20 DAYS HOLIDAY.Radio Communications Engineer Responsibilities:- Carry out remedial maintenance, respond to customer requests and ensure all requests are resolved within the required timescale.- Respond to minor work requests and ensure these are delivered to customer satisfaction. - Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and installations as required.- Assist with projects and carry out product testing as required.Radio Communications Engineer Requirements:- Proven experience of working with radios.- Cellular / Wi-Fi knowledge.- Experience with carrying out vehicle installations radios/telematics.- Ability to carry out programming of radios.- Able to undertake security clearance and gain an airside pass.- Hold a full clean driving licence.Radio Communications Engineer Benefits:- Negotiable salary depending on skills and experience.- Shift Allowance.- Shift pattern - 4 on / 4off - 12 hour shifts.- 20 days holiday.- Pension scheme.- Opportunity to join an established company and work in a challenging and varied environment.NOTE - Our client encourages applications from candidates from both commercial and ex-military backgrounds, Royal Navy Communications Information Systems Specialist (CIS), British Army Royal Signals Communications Systems Engineer, Royal Air Force Cyberspace Communications Specialist, Communications Infrastructure Technician.
