Information ManagerDamicor are recruiting on behalf of Britains largest airport for an Information Manager to support the Information and Asset Management strategy, the job holder will be responsible for the efficient collection, quality checking, storage and controlling ofall aspects of asset information, including graphical information. Work with delivery teams to ensure graphical, non-graphical and documentation deliverables are compliant against our standards, integrated on time and deliver benefits to the end users.Job DescriptionLead the identification and delivery of any existing information required by the internal and external stakeholders.Lead the assurance, acceptance, and integration of all aspects of asset information delivery in a timely and compliant manner, to be achieved by close engagement with delivery teams and other content providers.Verifying and Integration of graphical data ensuring our data set is current, complete and to a usable quality. To ensure alignment with all our asset information systems to give better decision-making capabilities.To ensure alignment within our asset information systems to give our colleagues better decision-making capabilities.Developing Asset graphical data structure and provide outputs for improvements in our standards and alignment to external industry standards and protocols (PAS 1192).Configure and administer our graphical toolsets to manage our structured data sets and provide a consistent and easy to use interface.Lead and proactively manage the workload and priorities of our asset information integration team to meet our end user requirements.Describe the level of technical knowledge required for the role and the nature of the expertise.Detailed knowledge of best practice approaches for information management and systems. To demonstrate working knowledge of leading information management, collaboration systems and enterprise asset management systems, including common data environment, SharePoint,ESRI (Graphical) and Maximo.To have a detailed working knowledge of industry standard asset information authoring tools and collection systems, principles, and assurance in industry standard CAD, CDE, GIS, EAM platforms. Understand graphical & non-graphical systems configuration opportunitiesand data structures.Detailed knowledge of best practice approaches for generating and integrating graphical / non-graphical and documentation.Describe the requirement for knowledge and expertise about how various parts of the organisation work together to achieve the companys objectives. Explain the degree of understanding required of the industry, and external environment.The ability to understand and balance operational priorities with other business stakeholders. Manage stakeholder expectations and to be able to prioritise opportunities of system and data improvements. An understanding of the project lifecycle and businessuse of deliverables.To identify, develop and implement the team strategy and delivery objectives for all asset information integrators. Influence a wide range of stakeholders to follow Heathrows principles for Information Management. Be influential about transferring knowledgeto peers and other business stakeholders. Continuously engage with customer to ensure benefit realisationContinually look for solutions utilising our data sets and information we manage. To be able to plan & prioritise continuous improvement of our asset graphical systems & data. Proactively support content providers to promote effective information delivery.To be able to understand the impact on maintaining current, quality information for all colleagues. To engage with front-line through to senior management roles - both internally and externally - to ensure that we have correct information to manage our assetsthrough their life. Take appropriate action to improve the quality and accuracy according to business needs and asset investment plans.Passion and drive to maintain quality of asset information in conformance with prescribed standards and processes, with ability to articulate the benefits it will give to the user community. Ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines complemented with multiple and changing priorities in a highly complex environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.Qualifications & Experience* Educated to HND level in relevant area or able to demonstrate equivalent professional experience.* An understanding of the aviation sector and the issues associated with working within a regulated industry.* Previous experience in an engineering design, construction, or maintenance environment* The ability to talk to customers, understand their requirements and propose efficient methods of fulfilling these requirements.* Experience of administrating graphical information systems in similar asset intensive organisation.* Detailed knowledge of best practice approaches for generating and integrating asset data (graphical / non-graphical and documentation).* Strong experience of the principles of managing all aspects of asset information and the role that GIS and BIM environments play. Be an expert user and have configuration/admin skills of CAD/BIM/GIS systems.* Understand how Graphical / Non-Graphical and documentation interrelate.* Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office* Be an expert user and have configuration/admin skills of graphical / non-graphical and documentation systems including CAD, CDE, GIS, EAM platforms.
