Job Description

An excellent opportunity exists for a chartered Estate Surveyor to join the Arora Property, a part of Arora Group.The Arora Property division was set up in 2005 to provide a property management and asset management service. It currently manages over £1.5 billion of property assets which includes operated hotels, a portfolio of externally leased hotels, offices and commercial spaces as well as land holdings across London, major regional airports, home counties.Estate Surveyor will have a range of responsibility covering mixed use / mixed asset property management. Responsible for technical instructions including service charge budgeting, rent reviews, lease renewals and actively building ever strong relations with the tenants.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of Commercial properties and carrying out regular site visits.
  • Providing professional advice to all departments regarding commercial property or estate management matters.
  • Undertake property management tasks to include tenant liaison, accounts enquiries and rent arrears management.
  • Liaising, managing and monitoring of external agents appointed by the firm to manage its properties.
  • Responsible for all landlord and tenant matters, lettings, rent reviews, lease renewals assignments, sub-letting, alterations and budgeting/forecasting.
    • Key Skills RequiredTo apply, you will preferably be MRICS qualified but consideration will be given to those with at proven experience as a Commercial Management Surveyor. It is important that you have a good understanding of all aspects of day to day management including rent reviews, lease renewals and service charge management and are be able to instruct and supervise contractors as well as being hand on’.
