Job Description

A Credit Controller provides strict controls on customer credit, adhere to company polices to improve and enhance customer relations and to assist with any other requirement and any ad hoc duties as required.This is a Mon-Fri role 0900-5.30pm with one day at the moment Working from homeIdeally you will have a Freight Account backgroundDuties:Credit Control:

  • Ensure strict credit control process.
  • Manage & Supervise one other credit controller (who will potentially be part time).
  • Produce and maintain credit control reporting for Operations & Key Manager’s.
  • Chase & monitor customers for overdue balances.
  • Monitor over credit limits and take appropriate action.
  • Credit assessment using Credit safe.
  • Payment plan negotiation with Terms & Conditions.
  • On-line debt collection
  • Identify potential customer credit issues and liaise with Key Managers, Sales and Directors where appropriate.
Accurate record keeping - updating Cargowise enquiries with all relevant informationOther duties include, Customer queries, Cashier Duties,
