If youre looking to expand your career, theres plenty of exciting opportunities overseas within the global dnata family.Would you like to join the UK HR Team supporting our Gatwick and Heathrow HR Business PartnersAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to be based at Gatwick Airport, supporting both the Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport HR Business Partners. The HR Assistant will support the HR Business Partners and Line Managers, in line with CompanyPolicy, on all administrative, contractual, and legislative requirements on a split week basis.Job Summary As a HR Assistant you will be assisting the HR Business Partner with business area workload, including recruitment, ER issues, absence processes and general administration duties. The role requires the candidate to support the recruitment process, whichinvolves conducting interviews, issuing, and collating relevant paperwork and reference checking all new staff for the 5-year background check. Updating the HR people system will be required on a regular and ongoing basis to ensure accuracy and integrity ofthe data and dealing with staff queries. Liaising with payroll for queries relating to employees issues and issuing contracts and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferable
  • Working towards CIPD qualification level 3 preferable but not essential
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines, on own initiative, and under pressure
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Discreet and professional, confidentiality is paramount
  • Good communication skills including written and verbal
  • Full UK Driving licence required. The successful candidate will be based at Gatwick Airport however there will be some occasional travel to Heathrow Airport to support with recruitment events.
  • Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
  • Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5-year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.
Working Pattern37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.A degree of flexibility will occasionally be required to support other areas of the business or stations if and where necessary.If you believe you have the drive and enthusiasm required, apply in writing with an up-to-date CV and covering letter advising why you are suitable for this position.
