The above temporary vacancy has now arisen within the Community Safety & Partnerships (CS&P) Department at South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) Headquarters, Forest View Business Park, Llantrisant, CF72 8LX.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of all youth engagement programmes that SWFRS deliver with and for the young people of South Wales and providing both local and national direction. The role isfurther responsible for the management of all aspects of the SWFRS Volunteer Scheme. The incumbent will have direct line management responsibility for a team of Project Managers across Youth Engagement as well as the Volunteer Co-ordinator.Applicants should hold a relevant youth qualification at degree level, have experience of planning, developing, managing, and evaluating a range of youth engagement programmesand be able to demonstrate experience in volunteer management. The role involves travel between sites throughout the South Wales area and the successful candidate must be able to travel independently. The role will alsoinvolve evening and weekend working on occasion.Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential for this post.The successful candidate will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check and be required to undertake a Drug and Alcohol Test prior to an appointment being made.All documentation is available in both Welsh and English and we welcome communication in either language. Bydd y rl hefyd yn cynnwysgweithio gydar nos ac ar benwythnosau o bryd iw gilydd.Mae sgiliau iaith Gymraeg yn ddymunol ond nid yn hanfodol ar gyfer y swydd hon.Bydd angen ir ymgeisydd llwyddiannus ymgymrydPhrawf Cyffuriau ac Alcohol a Gwiriad gan Wasanaeth Datgelur Alban cyn y gwneir unrhyw benodiad.Maer holl ddogfennaeth ar gael yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg ac rydym yn croesawu cyfathrebu yn y ddwy iaith. Ni fydd ceisiadau a gyflwynir yn Gymraeg yn cael eu trin yn llai ffafriol. Bydd ymgeiswyr syn llwyddo yn y cam Llunio Rhestr Fer yn cael cyfle i gadarnhaueu dewis iaith ar gyfer cyfweliadau ac asesiadau (gan gynnwys gwaith papur, cyflwyniadau llafar a chwestiynau cyfweliad). Bydd y trefniadaun cael eu cadarnhau yn dilyn gwahoddiad i gyfweliad a gellir darparu gwasanaeth Cyfieithu a/neu Gyfieithu ar y Pryd.
