Manufacturing Facilities ManagerPontyclun£45,000 to £50,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Pension + On Site Parking + CanteenMonday to Friday DAYS. Early Finish Friday. 37.5 Hour Per Week.ARE YOU A FACILITIES ENGINEERING MANAGER, FACILITIES MAINTENANCE MANAGER, FACILITIES AND UTILITIES MANAGER WITH A STRONG MANUFACTURING BACKGROUNDThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful manufacturer who offer an autonomous and varied role with a high level of responsibility. You will benefit from leading a highly skilled, well established team and have the scope to make improvements onsite.The role would suit engineering managers, maintenance managers or maintenance supervisors with a strong background in site maintenance, utilities, facilities and fabrics. Applicants must have previous experience of successfully leading ateam. You will ideally transfer from a manufacturing background and have both mechanical and electrical competencies. You will be apprentice trained or equivalent as a minimum and ideally have an IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. Engineering Managers who haveprevious experience working within a COMAH site will have a considerable advantage, however this is not essential.Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for leading a small but well established team of 4 utilities & facilities engineers. You will coordinate all site services, utilities, facilities and fabrics on a large manufacturing plant ona day to day basis. As part of your role, you will ensure that the site is legally compliant to all building regulations and standards. Due to this being a COMAH site, risk assessment and insurance will be a big portion of your position to ensure complianceacross the plant. You will manage all external contractors and service providers and be responsible for ordering of spares and budget control. The role will be a good mixture of management (80%) and hands on engineering/maintenance (20%) when required. Youwill strive to improve upon current systems and develop and implement a robust pre-planned maintenance schedule to ensure the site’s infrastructure and utilities are running efficiently.MANUFACTURING FACILITIES MANAGER:*Coordination of all site services, utilities, facilities and fabrics on a large manufacturing site*80% Management and 20% Hands On*Managing a team of 4 facilities engineers*Making sure the site is legally compliant to building regulations and requirements*Management of external contractors and service providers*Budgetary control*Improving on current systems, implementation of a robust PPM schedule*Monday to Friday DAYS.
