Job Description

The Role:Play a key role in creating and implementing change management strategies for large scale change projects across the organisation, to maximise employee adoption and usage and minimise resistance. This role will focus on the people side of change, includingchanges to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organisation structures.Within this role you will work closely with various stakeholders across the business to succeed. Whilst providing support and coaching to all levels to ensure change is implemented smoothly. The change manager will also support project teams in ensuringthat change management activities are integrated into their project plans.________________________________________Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop change management strategies for key strategic programmes and initiatives, applying a structured methodology whilst leading change management activities
  • Utilise relevant change management processes, tools and resources to support adoption of the changes required by key projects or initiatives
  • Support with the design, development, deliver and management of communication plans
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programmes
  • Identify possible risks and prepare risk mitigation tactics, whilst ensuring resistance to change is managed
  • Consult, coach and support project teams and managers to ensure projects are being delivered and the benefits realised
  • Work with project teams to ensure change plans are integrated, resource plans are developed and advise stake holders of resource requirements and associated costs
  • Support and engage various senior leaders, working with them to ensure their role as change sponsor is effective
  • Advise stakeholders on organisational design, structures and changes to peoples roles and responsibilities
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress

  • Experience of coaching & consulting at a senior level, underpinned by a collaborative & supportive style of working.

  • Demonstrable wide ranging business knowledge & experience and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
  • High level of integrity, energy and sense of urgency to make things happen.
  • Ability to establish and maintain trust, credibility and build strong relationships.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • A formal change management qualification (Prosci change management certification) is desirable to the role
  • Significant knowledge and demonstrable experience of implementing change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Relevant experience of working as a key part of cross-functional team to deliver large-scale organisational change
  • Strong understanding of how people journey through change and experience of leading change across a large-scale, complex environment
  • Able to confidently give managers robust advice on people related changes
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Excellent communicator with ability to negotiate, influence and explain, particularly to large business teams
  • Ability to think and act strategically, as well as recognising when to act tactically
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to keep track of deliverables
