ICT DepartmentICT Communications Team ManagerGrade 13 37 Hours Per Week Permanent SALARY: £38,296 - £39,493 per annumSouth Wales Fire and Rescue Service is one of the largest, most successful and highest performing Fire and Rescue Services in the UK serving over 1.5 million people across 10 Constituent Unitary Authorities stretching from Bridgend to Monmouth and from CardiffBay to Brecon Beacons National Park.The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective management of all service, support and administrative functions of the ICT Communications Team.They will also be responsible for a wide variety of projects as well as the day to day activities of the team. This will involve creating and implementing business plans, responsibility for managing budgets as well as procuring goods and services withinpublic sector guidelines.They must be able to motivate, develop and appraise their staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to meet changing demands.Applications are invited from candidates with suitable experience as outlined in the Person Specification.
