FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANTGrade 1337 hours per week12 months Fixed Term ContractSalary: £38,296 - £39,493 per annumReference Number: 505019The above vacancy has arisen within the Finance & Procurement Department of the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters based at Forest View Business Park, Llantrisant.The successful candidate will be required to provide a comprehensive, statutory and professional accountancy service to South Wales Fire & Rescue Service with specific responsibility for capital accounting, banking and financial control activities.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with statutory accounting regulations within recognised defined timescales whilst adhering to best accounting working practices. They will play a key part in the continuous developmentand improvement of accountancy processes and systems required to adapt to an ever changing public sector environment.The closing date for application forms is 31/07/23 12:00 Midday.We are a family friendly organisation and a flexible working system is in operation.
