Job Description

In order to provide maternity cover, our client is offering a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract within the New Product Industrialisation Department for the role of NPI Administrator (Master Data).The successful applicant will report to the Head of Industrialisation and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including:

  • Liaison with customers, suppliers, the commercial team and the group.
  • Input data into X3, including Bills of Material and material costs.
  • Develop product barcode labels and manage the customer approval process.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of technical feasibility and manufacturing/packaging trial runs. Complete any customer or company trial report paper work.
  • Create purchase orders for trial components and raw materials.
  • Coordinate new product origination costs. Supply data to Sales team for customer review.
  • Provide general administrative support for the New Product Development Department.
  • Support and participate in cross functional training within the NPI department to ensure flexibility across the team as directed by the Head of Industrialisation.
  • Assist in the seamless introduction of products into the company.

  • Good standard of general education including G.C.S.E. Mathematics and English, grades A*-C (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software.
  • Understanding of supply chain and associated lead times.
  • Experience of liaising with people at all levels.
  • Experience of working in a cosmetics or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Knowledge of Sage X3 (or similar software), in particular with reference to creating component and raw material codes and Bills of Materials.
  • Team player.
  • Conscientious & self-motivated.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure to achieve tight deadlines
  • Highly organised.
  • Experience of data handling
Salary: £23000 - £250005 Weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays12 month Full Time Contract with 1 months probationMonthly Paid*Please note that we will only be replying to candidates with the relevant experience for this role
