An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Administrative Services for the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Directorate. Applications are invited from enthusiastic, innovative, motivated and suitably qualified individuals for the post of full-time, 37.5 hours per week Band 3 Team Secretary/Administrator within the CMHT Service based in Brynmair Clinic, Goring Road, Llanelli, SA15 3HF.Experience of a range of IT systems / packages coupled with proven secretarial skills and previous experience is essential. An interest in data collation and a good working knowledge of Excel is necessary for this post.Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have experience within an administrative role as the post has a wide variety of duties and should possess excellent communication/ organisational skills, be tactful, diplomatic, able to work using own initiative, and as part of a team.An understanding of confidentiality is essential. Experience of working within the NHS and Mental Health Services as well as knowledge of Health Systems is desirable but an enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn is also very important.The applicants must possess RSA III or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative / office skills and knowledge, or RSA II or equivalent demonstrable experience of administrative / office skills and knowledge plus additional experience of working in an administrative / office environment. Minute taking and Audio typing would be advantageous as would experience of Data Entry using Excel spreadsheets.The successful candidate will be required to support the delivery of a quality comprehensive service to the team and provide cover in the event of administrative staff being absent. The role may also involve travelling to and working across other sites within the Directorate in support of service delivery.
