Acorn Recruitment is proud to represent a Tier 1 construction contractor who are recruiting for a permanent Buildings Setting Out Engineer on a permanent basis.They have an £87m wellbeing village project starting in Llanelli from October 2022 which is expected to run until the summer of 2024.This exciting project is the biggest undertaken in Carmarthenshires history and will include a leisure centre, sports hall, teaching and training facilities, and GP facilities.*Please note: this role doesnt involve any civil engineering setting-out duties*As the Setting Out Engineer you will be responsible for: * Accurate setting out/surveying of brickwork, RC Frame, lines and levels * Conduct quality control checks and build records * Assist senior engineer in ensuring all operations are carried out safely * Assist in the supervising of sub - contractors on siteRequirements: * Construction related degree (ideally)* CSCS card* Previously worked as a Setting out Engineer, Site Engineer, or Engineering Surveyor* Experienced in RC work - minimum 2 years UK experience* The client is particularly interested in candidates who have begun making their first steps into managementBenefits:* Salary negotiable depending on experience* Car allowance* 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays* Pension contributions* Private healthcareAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
