Senior Support Assistant in the Domiciliary Support Service£10 per hour (block contract) plus 25p per mile travel allowanceDrivers OnlyWe are offering a full-time permanent role to the right person who wishes to work in our new Domiciliary Support Service in the Llanelli Area.Our skilled Domiciliary Support Service Keyworkers work with Service Users who need that extra bit of confidence building, providing that little bit of help to maintain their daily routines. Your role is to reskill them in old and introduce them to new activitiesthat they thought they could no longer take part in. You will be responsible in finding activities for them to attend, supporting them to become independent and giving them the skills to do so.We will nurture talents and skills that you already have that will make such a difference to someone who needs your support!As a Senior Keyworker you will be looking after your own caseload of service users. You will be responsible for assessing their need for any TECH support and the cognitive and physical needs they may have, and you will be putting effective solutions intoplace. You will receive full training to increase your skills and identify your strengths, so you are able to provide person-centred care for each individual service user, helping to maintain their independence and support them to live well in their own homes.There is an element of personal care in this role, as some Service Users need that extra support.You will be liaising with Multi-Disciplinary Teams to organise the care needed for the service user.Here are some of our staff and user thoughts on our NEW service:I have met lovely people thanks to my role.
