The successful candidate will be joining a small team, whos focus is to grow its current portfolio over the short to medium term. The role holder will be fully involved in the delivery of ongoing projects, as well as the development and pursuance of newopportunities in the UK and rest of the world.Client DetailsThe client are a water processing company based in Llanelli, and are responsible for bring clean drinking water to some of the most deprived areas of the world. The company has received considerable investment which has allowed them to begin a plethora ofnew projects across the globe.DescriptionAccountable for the delivery of allocated projects, within the agreed boundaries of safety, cost, time, and quality objectives. Responsible for administration of allocated delivery contracts. Ensuring the wider Project Team are focused on contractual obligations, the programme plan and KPIs etc. Establish a PMO to monitor and track project delivery using agreed Project Control metrics. Produce monthly reports on activity, outcomes and finance. Accountable for cost capture, deliverables against deadlines and programme baseline management. Take appropriate action to mitigate risk and maximise opportunities related to project objectives. Accountable for the ongoing management of the Risk Register and Issues Log for allocated projects. Working alongside the wider Project Team, ensure project opportunities are effectively scoped and optimal solutions identified. Ensure the wider Project Team remain focused on delivery against the programme plan throughout the project life cycle. Work closely with the finance team on budget development and ongoing monthly forecasting. Ensure all construction works are managed in line with the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. Work closely with Clients to determine agreed acceptance criteria for project outputs at the earliest possible stage in the life cycle. Ensure all project handover documentation and procedures are complete prior to the issuance of sectional and final completion certificates. Ensure all projects are concluded with a robust lessons learned and post project review. Where required, assist the PMO in continuous improvement of the Business Management System. Carry out other duties are directed by the General Manager (Rest of World) to meet business needs.ProfileExisting Project Management Qualification (e.g., APMP/PMQ, Prince II) or a commitment to achieve a relevant qualification within an agreed timeframe. Experience and understanding of H&S legislation, including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015. IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH Construction Certificate desirable. A track record of successful project delivery, ideally in water, oil, or gas industries. Experience of contract administration. Experience of managing a project delivery team, inclusive of line management responsibility.Job Offer
