Location: Llangennech, LlanelliContract: BankHours: Various hours availableWorking pattern: Days, evenings, weekends and night shiftsPay (per hour):

  • £12.75 - Day/Weekend/Bank Holiday
  • £13.39 - Waking Night
  • £9.50 - Sleep

We pride ourselves on delivering a specialist service that recognises the uniqueness of every client;all with very different aspirations and challenges.The ability to drive using the family vehicle is essentialWe are looking for a warm, bubbly, reliable individual to support a young man, who shares a fully adapted property with his mum and seeks to live as independently as possible. He has Cerebral Palsy and requires care on a 2:1 basis. The client has complexphysical difficulties, and he receives input from a multi-disciplinary team of therapists.Our client has a great sense of humour, enjoying many activities such as attending concerts and shows, as well as thoroughly enjoying the fun of watching reality TV programmes. It is very important to our client that his support staff engage and have aninterest in what he enjoys. The work is varied and involves assisting the client to access the local community and its amenities. At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours depending on the activity that the client wishes to attend, such as accompanyinghim on outings and holidays.The support worker will work as part of a team to provide personal care; assistance with both music and hydrotherapy sessions and other tasks relating to his care.Whilst some experience in this area of work is preferred, it is not essential as a full induction and training will be provided.This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
