Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the full distribution operation of the warehouse. This includes team management, stock control, inventory analysis, and quality control ensuring customers orders are met OTIF.Client Details

  • Consumer goods distribution business based in West Lothian.
Description
  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards. Implement best practices to optimise processes and minimise errors.
  • Develop and execute strategies for effective inventory control, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Lead and inspire a team of warehouse staff. Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless coordination and communication.
  • Provide regular reports to management on warehouse performance.
Profile
  • Previous experience working in a Warehouse Management role within a fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Amazon and eBay would be highly advantageous.
  • PC Literate - confident user of Microsoft Office.
