Job Description

Hourly rate: £12.00 Support Worker- Waking Nights. 3 month contract with the possibility of extension.Eiburn, LivingstonHourly rate of £12.00. Our goal is to provide housing with care based on an enabling approach with an outcome focused support planning process.As a large provider of social care services, Mears works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to address challenges in the social care marketplace.We are Mears Supported Living Ltd, providing a range of care and support services to people out in the community and in their own homes.Role Criteria: So what does a career in care look like Job roles include:

  • Providing all elements of personal care, support & assistance to clients.
  • Demonstrating companionship and commitment.
  • Prompting and administering medication.
  • Getting to know your clients and forming a stable relationship with them.
  • Meal preparation.
  • General household maintenance and tasks.
Shifts will cover a 2 week rota to work 22.00-08.00; 3 nights on week 1 and 4 nights on week 2, this is subject to requirement and may change.You will be rewarded with a sense of community as well as a long term career path, where progression can include jobs roles such as Senior Care worker, Visiting Officer, Coordinator or Branch Manager.All our roles require candidates to have the entitlement to work within the UK, Mears- does not currently offer visa sponsorship.
