Job Description

Responsible for ensuring a well kept storeroom, receiving orders, checking delivery notes and working as part of a fast paced team.Client DetailsLeading provider of micro and optoelectronics services in engineering, procurement, assembly, and test in space and harsh environment markets.Description

  • Working as part of a team under the supervision of the Stores Manager
  • Receive Goods in and check packaging
  • Check delivery notes/packing slips to match and correspond with associated purchase orders
  • Record materials/parts into ERP system
  • Identify each material/parts, project name and storage allocation
  • Liaise with management, production, engineering and QA when materials/parts arrive
  • Keep up to date stock levels and re-order based on lead-times and expiry dates
  • Assist with kitting as and when required
Profile
  • Good standard of general education
  • Good computer literacy and previous experience using an ERP system
  • Previous experience working in stores and stock management (experience with stock control, and distribution mandatory)
  • Great communication and customer service skills
  • The initiative to work on your own or as part of a team
  • The ability to work under pressure
Job Offer£10 per hour, working 40 hours per week - can be open to part time hoursThis is a 6 month contract that has the opportunity to go permanent
