Job Description

QHSE OfficerLocation:Livingston, ScotlandSalary:CompetitiveA fantastic opportunity has been created for a QHSE Officer to work as part of the companys dynamic, highly motivated team delivering their extensive and diverse portfolio of laboratory and consultancy projects for the oil, gas and renewables industries.This newly created position is based in their Livingston laboratory facility.The RoleThis is a hands-on, varied role with key responsibilities of ensuring the quality systems and health and safety standards of the company and its staff are maintained to the highest level.The job holder will be responsible for the day-to-day Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental workload, providing compliance, technical and legislative support to the companys UK operation and liaising with their global teams to support and promote processimprovements.Essential Skills/Experience

  • Good working knowledge of laboratory and/or oilfield chemistry Health and Safety
  • Good working knowledge of ISO 9001 and 17025, quality assurance and quality control principles
  • Degree educated, preferably Engineering or Science based
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • NEBOSH General Certificate and preferable NEBOSH Diploma (or working towards)
  • Previous responsibility for Health and Safety and/or ISO compliance
  • Lead auditor training
