Job Description

Our client, a public sector body, seeks a Programme Development Adviser on a short term 12 weeks basis, with potential for extension.This role attracts a day rate of £400 inside IR35.Currently this role is remote working, as the guidance changes, this role has office facilities in Livingstone.This role will be working on the Cladding Remediation Programme.Key requirements in the role:

  • Through personal research and shared materials, develop a comprehensive understanding of the Cladding Remediation Programme and Single Building Assessment Pilot and the relevant public policy history.
  • Review the conclusions of the recent Gateway Review and identify achievable actions to deliver against these.
  • Provide advice and support to the Programme Team on scheme design and development by way of advice, recommendations, contacts and professional and technical input.
  • Provide analysis and identify actions around the ongoing Grenfell Inquiry.
Skills:Qualifications
  • Degree qualified (any discipline) or substantial experience in a critical analysis field, high level of written and verbal communication
  • Suitable qualification or substantial experience relating to Business Design and Development, Programme Scheme Design, Programme Delivery or the creation or oversight of a Programme Management Office.
Essential Criteria
  • Extensive experience in a leadership or business development capacity in a Programme Delivery environment .
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills spanning quantitative and qualitative information and ability to summarise and formulate real-world conclusions.
  • Self starter with high levels of resilience, able to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to follow the civil service code principles of integrity, impartiality, objectivity and honesty.
A Basic Police Act Disclosure is required for this role.
