Job Description

Growing company who provide outsourced legal cashiering functions to law firms throughout the UK.Opportunities to work fully remote or in the office.Role includes providing outsourced cashiering, accounting services, and payroll to the legal industry, managing a portfolio of monthly client payrolls as well as supervising and training other members of staff in the business.Client DetailsGrowing company that provides finance functions to law firms in the UK.Description

  • Supervise and ensure the smooth running of all payrolls across the business.
  • Process monthly payrolls for a portfolio of clients.
  • Process Pensions, including Auto enrolment for a portfolio of clients.
  • Deal with adhoc payroll queries.
  • Complete RTI submissions.
  • Ensure client HMRC queries and requirements are met.
  • Managing and training junior members of staff.
  • Annual P11D submission and queries.
  • Complete P60 / Year end process.
  • Ensure the transition of new clients payroll is completed accurately and successfully.
Profile
  • Experience working as a Payroll Manager or similar in a busy office environment.
  • Experience with managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Use of Sage Payroll along with a good knowledge of the system software.
  • An excellent understanding of and practical implementation of Pension: Auto-enrolment.
  • Experience of uploading and managing pension contributions with multiple providers.
  • A good knowledge of SSP / SMP / Student Loans / Benefits in Kind / Salary sacrifice schemes.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team.
  • A desire to learn and work hard in a fast-paced business.
  • Strong people management and leadership skills.
