Job Title: Operations SupervisorLocation: Livingston (travel to client sites as required)Salary: Competitive salary + company car / car allowanceJob type: Permanent, Full timeOmega Red Group is part of SSI Services (UK) Ltd, a division of South Staffordshire Plc. Omega Red Group is a specialist design, installation, testing and maintenance contractor, within the electrical earthing, lightning protection and height safety market.Operating nationally, the business focuses on providing top quality safety-critical services for the protection of people, buildings and infrastructure. Omega Red Group is a successful, growing company that is looking for talented employees who want to workin an environment that is challenging and rewarding.Main Duties:

  • Working within the operations team you will coordinate and run a team of lightning conductor fitters across Scotland.
  • Responsible for the timely delivery of works to a high standard you will ensure costs are controlled and planned profit margins are maintained or improved through scheduling works, managing labour and materials alongside assisting on people management issues.
  • Assisting in providing technical support and guidance to clients you will be their first point of contact developing key relationships and helping to generate repeat business. A key part of the role will be setting the teams to work and confidently offeringadvice and solutions on engineering-based queries.
  • Promoting and maintaining high health and safety standards you will be confident in completing risk/method statements, auditing sites and closely monitoring site progress through site surveys and effective performance management of a field-based team.

  • Have a proven track record of client delivery with an ability to professionally communicate at all levels, ensuring operational excellence is achieved
  • Have extensive lightning protection knowledge
  • Thrive on problem solving tasks and display excellent organisational skills
  • Adopt a flexible working pattern to respond and meet operational requirements
  • A valid driving licence is essential for the role
