Reporting to Production Availability & Engineering Specialist this role will be responsible for the maintenance of the bottling line machinery, undertaking line improvements, routine maintenance, fault finding and line breakdowns - ensuring the effectiveutilisation of the line and maximising efficiency.Client DetailsA Company where pride in Scottish heritage is combined with a huge appetite to grow the business across the world.An organisation rooted in craftsmanship, delivered with the highest standards of excellence, brought to life with creativity.Producing Whisky brands which have won all possible industry awards and are the envy of our competitors.Established in the Highlands, and distilled and bottled in Scotland to their own traditional style.Our job is to convey our passion for these brands to win the hearts and minds of partners, distributors, retailers and of course consumers all around the world!DescriptionOperations:* Ensure planned maintenance program is carried out on schedule* Attend line breakdowns and carry out reactive work* Identify and order spare parts as required* Identify the cause of quality defects and ensure the issue is resolved satisfactorily * Propose and implement quality and productivity improvements on lines* Support installation and commissioning of new equipmentPeople:* Formally communicate handover at start and finish of shift * Participate in team meetings on and off line* Support line team and other engineers as required* Have a pro-active approachStandards:* Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner* Wear the correct PPE at all times* Ensure that area is left clean and tidy after all work is completed * Complete relevant documentation for maintenance records* Ensure quality of finished goods meets brand standard* Actively participate in continuous improvement * Support short interval controlProfileQualified / Timeserved Electrical Engineer with 18th Edition Regulations and or HNC/HND Electrical Engineering award with proven experience within an FMCG Production Environment.Experience in maintenance, service and installation of electrical systems is required.Job Offer£38,000 + Shift Allowance + Bonus Total Salary circa £44K + BonusEarly/Back Shift Pattern Monday to Friday (Early finish on Friday)Pension, Private Medical, Death In Service, Vouchers, Group BenefitsFlexible Approach to working allowing employees to have a positive work life balanceTraining & Development
