Job Description

First Achieves Engineering Division are recruiting for a Finishing Unit Operator to be based in the Livingston area. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking business that is heavily involved with the Aerospace & Energyindustries.Whats on offer:

  • Salary £26986.67-£34332.31
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for acid etching and dye penetrant of parts
  • Packing and shipping duties
  • Ensure all work is to a high standard
  • Once trained additional skills training could include Hardness Testing and Metallurgical sample preparation
Experience and skills required:
  • Current Forklift/ Crane Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good sound judgement
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and demonstrate initiative
Before applying, any candidate must understand that the training will involve a minimum of 40 hours classroom training and a minimum of 400 hours practical training.
