Job Description

My client, a leading global organisation is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager for an initial 7/8 month period with an immediate start available.The role is to be Hybrid working with office space available in either Aberdeen or Livingston.Client DetailsGlobal leader in the Subsea services world.DescriptionResponsible for the supervision of the Business Unit Finance Team* Oversee the delivery of the month end to Corporate Finance* Partner with Project Managers and Cost Controllers to ensure the project P&Ls areprepared accurately with project level metrics understood* Post journal entries as required and review and approve journal entries posted by theFinance Team* Review of Accounts Receivables, including but not limited to overseeing processing ofinvoices, preparing revenue accruals, reporting of ageing of accrued revenue with regularupdates to the business, attendance at the debtors review call* Responsible for maintaining Fixed Asset Registers and ensuring regular periodic review withthe Management Team* Review balance sheet reconciliations every month for all entities in the Business Unit andattend bi-monthly Balance Sheet review meetings with Corporate Finance* Prepare and issue monthly results to Business Unit Director in advance of their performancereview call and attend the performance review call* Produce and review monthly reporting packs and commentary for required legal entities inaccordance with the Group policies.* Assist with the annual budget process* Assist with the annual audit of the business unit legal entities and liaison with auditorsthroughout the audit process* Maintain accurate files in accordance with agreed standard file structure to ensure ongoingdata integrity and compliance* Provide guidance, support and mentoring to develop the finance teamProfileQBE, Part Qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA or equivalent * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills* Navision Knowledge is preferred* Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision* Ability to work independently; strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation aswell as collaboratively within a team* Ability to manage multiple and fast-track priorities with a proactive and positive attitudeJob OfferA strong salary DOE is available up to £50k.Immediate start available
