Blue Arrow are working in partnership with a precision engineering company based in Livingston. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking team.Main Responsibilities:-Perform and document quality checks on incoming materials and components received from subcontractors.Perform and document initial, in process and final quality checks on components produced in house as required by their ISO compliant system, using manual tool such as micrometers and a CNC CMM (training on CMM will be given if required)Ensure calibration of all measuring equipment both internal and external.Manage and oversee inspection equipment when required.Replenish inspection equipment inventory as required.Manage calibration documentation accordingly.Support with additional workshop tasks such as hand finishing parts, fitting helicoils, assemblies.Report non conformances where applicable following ISO compliant process.Other duties that may fall within the Engineers experience if required.Customer interaction and site visits may be required when necessary.Experience required:-Experienced time served craftsman preferred Experience of Milling and Turning operationsExperience of Welding/Fabrication advantageous.Benefits39 hour week Monday to Friday (utilising flexitime)34 days holiday per annumPension and Life assurance (4 times salary)Twice annual bonus dependant on company performance.Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
