HV Design Engineer- Livingstone- Up to £70,000An experienced HV Design Engineer is sought by a growing ICP/Developer in the utility scale BESS space. This is a super unique opportunity to join the growing ICP arm of a large developer, acting as a senior design engineer. Youd mainly be focusing on primary designs for large-scale infrastructure for grid scale renewables. These will include voltages between33kV and 400kV. Youd have the opportunity to work really closely with directors within the company with strong scope and progression to meet that level throughout your time at the company. They have a really close culture, all of the team getting on really well, and needinglike-minded people to join them.The main responsibilities for this role will include:- Working on a variety of projects, including feasibility, detailed designs and substation design/upgrades. - Youll be working on substation designs across the full project lifecycle from feasibility through to detailed design stages. - HV cable design work and cable routing. - Working on detailed substation engineering calculations, including transformer sizing and earthing designs. This is a vital role to the success of this organisation, youd potentially have the option to progress through to director level with the anticipated growth of the organisation.
