Job Description

Job Opportunity: Framework Manager in Civil EngineeringJoin our client a prestigious civil engineering contractor specialising in Water, Wastewater, and Energy sectors as a Framework Manager. This permanent position, based in Livingston, focuses on the Scottish Water Framework, making water-related experiencehighly desirable. This is an exciting time to become a part of the team, with a robust pipeline of projects secured for 2024 and beyond.As the Framework Manager, your responsibilities will include:Client liaison is at the forefront of this role

  • Developing and maintaining a thorough understanding of existing frameworks and contracts, including tender preparation.
  • Managing the bid process and overseeing design and technical aspects.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, terms, and conditions.
  • Monitoring and managing contract performance, including KPIs and SLAs.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with contractual agreements.
  • Addressing issues or deviations from contract terms.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications for this role:
  • Previous experience in a management position.
  • Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in change management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work in clients office as and when required.
