A tremendous opportunity to work within a high growth international entertainment business which still has a small, informal and collaborative team. This role would suit a new qualified accountant (or possibly finalist) with a strong controls backgroundand a process improvement mindset. The CompanyIt has been on a roller coaster journey over the past year opening in 20 new countries and implementing new software as well as bringing on board new revenue streams. The Role* Assist with preparation, review and submission, including commentary, of monthly actuals and forecast (Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)* Regular internal management reporting including regular cost and revenue reporting* Timely booking of journals and preparation of supporting documentation* Preparation of month end balance sheet reconciliations including bank accounts.* Preparation of cash book entries* Support statutory reporting* Support the tax teams across various, complex regions* Support the intercompany reporting process* Support of commercial finance with timely, accurate and insightful reporting* Collaboration with commercial finance to reconcile various income and cost streams including affiliate revenues and content costs* Continuous improvement projects such as report automation and standardisation* Assisting with internal and external audit queries* Supporting robust financial control environment which includes a thorough review of the general ledger and reporting processes to ensure fit for purpose identifying and implementing continuous improvement ideas * Ad-hoc project work, as and when requiredThe Person* Seeking an informal, pleasant individual who shows alacrity for building strong effective relationships with team members and other teams such as commercial finance, marketing, content providers, payroll* Someone who enjoys a fast based environment with lots of adhoc tasks and who can prioritize on a daily basis* Strong communication skillsExtra InfoThis role has a 5% bonus and other benefits.
