Fantastic opportunity to join a leading equipment manufacture as a Field Service Engineer.The company provides a range of products designed for the elemental analysis of organic and inorganic samples. Typically, end-users are looking to determine the presence and/or concentration of elements such as Nitrogen, Oxygen, Hydrogen, Carbon and sulphurwithin their samples.These instruments are used in a variety of sectors including but not limited to; materials science, food & environmental analysis, forensics and petroleum, among others. The company has the ability to provide extensive on the job training, and therefore this role is open to experienced elemental analysis end-users/scientists, onsite engineers and current Field Service Engineers looking for a new role or industry.In this role duties will include:* Organising your diary for planned maintenance appointments* Product installations * Providing technical support* Attending urgent callouts - diagnose faults and perform repairs* Liaise with senior decision makers, such as laboratory managers, Service Managers, Coordinators, etc* Liaise internally with Account Managers, fellow Engineers & ManagementApplicants need to:* Have a relevant qualification in electronics/electrical engineering or significant hands-on experience with elemental analysers* Knowledge/experience with electrical circuits and diagrams* Be able to problem solve, troubleshoot etc.* Good communication skills verbal, written and IT literacy skills* Want to be customer facing - people orientated* Have a valid drivers license* Happy with extensive travelling throughout the territory (Car, phone, laptop all provided and expenses covered with any required overnight stays) The Company offers:* 6months on the job training (depending on experience)* Competitive salary with annual reviews* Annual profit related bonus (typically £2,000-£2,500)* Company car, phone, and laptop/tablet* Private healthcare* Life insurance* Continual product training* Career support with developmental opportunitiesBeing a Field service engineer offers opportunities to build your network & develop professional relationships, learn new skills, work in many locations and labs!This role will cover the companys North East & Scotland territory - applicants much be based within this area.So, if youre look looking to diversify your experience & gain more autonomy in your work Apply Now!
