Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working with a leading design & manufacturing company in thedata centre. and wireless networks space to assist with their recruitment of aFacilities Maintenance Engineer.The RoleThe role is to be actively involved in assisting in the smooth and efficient running of the facilities department, providing a complete service to the facility covering all aspects of maintenance and repair of plant and building services.Key Responsibilities

  • Providing technical leadership and advice to engineers and technicians
  • Establish TPM for all production equipmentmonitoring for effectiveness, relevance, recommending and implementing change
  • Instigate; drive improvements and modification activity as determined by maintenance schedules
  • Support Production efforts by analysing complex engineering problems aiming to identify and rectify root causes offering solutions
  • Ensure all equipment engineering practices and procedures are carried out in accordance with current health & safety legislation
  • Liaise with main equipment suppliers about technical servicing issues as required including purchase specification
  • Ensure adequate availability of equipment spares for all manufacturing equipment
  • Participate as an active member of the Emergency Response Team and in cross-training functions
Skills and Experience
  • Educated to HND or equivalent within an electrical or electronic discipline
  • Previous experience working in a wafer fabrication environment
  • Excellent troubleshooting abilities and able to work on your own or in a team
  • Have excellent fault finding skills, be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work with excellent communication skills
  • Be proactive and capable of working without direct supervision and enjoy the challenge of working to deadlines to achieve defined targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
