Job Description

Job Title: Electronics Hardware EngineerLocation: Edinburgh, ScotlandIndustry: Aerospace & DefenceSalary: Above Industry StandardJonathan Lee has engaged with a key client a global leading consultancy and service providers who lead and support award winning businesses across the planet with key and critical projects. Due to winning new business and continuous company growth, my client is looking to recruit an Electronics Hardware Engineer within their Antenna Engineering team for a permanent position. An option for contract may be considered. As the Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be based in Edinburgh, Scotland.Job Description Role Overview: The hardware engineer would be part of the customer team designing antennae for multiple applications.Job Responsibilities:

  • Support customer design team involved in RF design and development of both exciters and converter modules
  • Support to manufacture
  • Support to development tests, calibration and validation
  • Technical assessment of system/ sub-system
  • Mandatory Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
  • Specialising in digital design techniques
  • Good Communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills
  • Good experience in writing technical documentation
  • Familiar with current industry standard CAD tools
  • Strong problem solving skills and experience of solving problems in a design and development context
  • Qualifications
  • 2:1 or better Electronics Engineering degree or related science
  • 5-7 years in electronics design and development projects preferably in same area
  • UK citizenship is mandatory to be able to clear the background checks and obtain SC clearance
