Biomedical Scientist We are currently recruiting for multiple positions for Biomedical Scientists for a laboratory based in Livingston.These are full time, permanent positions with competitive salaries.Job Responsibilities:To assist laboratory staff to provide Molecular Diagnostic serviceResponsible for adding technical and approved clinically relevant comments before sending results to external clients on behalf of the companyProvide training to laboratory staffResponsible for interpretation of results and take actions according to company policiesResponsible for authorizing resultsTo liaise with senior BMS staff, medical and scientific staff in all matters relating to the diagnosis of infection.Responsible for maintaining quality systems within the laboratoryRequirementsEssentialDegree in Biomedical Science or higherCurrent and active HCPC registration as a biomedical ScientistUnderstanding and knowledge of PCR and RT- PCRKnowledge of using LIMS systemsExperience in provide training to laboratory staffPlease note that these are urgent positions and our client will be looking to fill these roles asap.
