Job Description

First Achieves Engineering Division are working with a Fantastic, Globally renowned engineering company who supply to Aerospace, Oil and Gas, Energy and Nuclear Industries. Due to further increase in orders, they are seeking an experienced ARC Welder.This is a great opportunity to join a leading company who are completely committed to their employees, offering continuous improvement and experience across various Industries.Whats on Offer

  • Competitive Salary paying circa £35,000 + Overtime
  • 3 Shift Pattern - Early, Afternoon & Nights (37 Hour Week)
  • Permanent Position from day 1
  • Plenty of Over-Time Available, Mon-Sat morning x1.5 and Sat Afternoon- Sunday x2

Duties:
  • Assemble and weld metal components according to blueprints and specifications
  • Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet the required standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
Skills:
  • Proficient in ARC welding
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
