Edward Mann is working with a large beverage company based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The position is temporary contract lasting 12 months, with the possibility of being extended by 2 months. The role is 3 days a week in the office and 2 days WFH.Responsibilities include:- Deputising for Head of Accounting when necessary- Month end duties - preparing closing timetable, ensure all journals posted eg. IAS38POSM adjustment, IFRS16 journal, payroll- Manage the IFRS16 Leasing database/group tool which generates the accounting booking- CAPEX accounting (Actual & Forecasted). Preparing all reports requested by budget holders- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations- Group reporting for Balance Sheet (Actual) in group tool SYRUS- Assist in Cashflow analysis reporting- Responsible for CONCUR (expense claims) administration and checking of claims. Ensure compliance to company policy- SAP - Master data management ie. vendor & customer master data- Assist in preparation of statutory accounts- Prepare detailed tax analysis required to support the tax computation- Assist in the audit process - coordinating provision of information to auditors and dealing with queries.Salary - £50,000Edward Mann Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
