Job Description

Experienced Year 6 Teacher RoleLocation: South Liverpool, Primary SchoolWere seeking a dedicated and skilled Year 6 Teacher to join our team in South Liverpool. This full-time role offers an opportunity to contribute to students final year of primary education.Our school is committed to providing a robust educational experience for every child. We focus on fostering an environment where students can excel academically, socially, and emotionally.As an experienced Year 6 Teacher, youll play a crucial role in preparing our students for secondary school. Your expertise will help them navigate SATs examinations and develop the skills necessary for success in the next phase of their education.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum, ensuring comprehensive coverage of key concepts and effective SATs preparation.
  • Provide tailored support and intervention to address individual student needs.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
  • Support students as they transition to secondary school, offering guidance and assistance.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to support student development.
Requirements:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have significant experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 6.
  • Demonstrate a track record of driving academic progress and achieving results in SATs examinations.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching techniques.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Show a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
