Job Description

Warehouse OperativeAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Warehouse Operative based in Liverpool. The successful candidate will earn £10 p/h, but will be discussed at interview.The hours for this position will be 08am5pm, MondayFriday; with overtime available.The successful candidate will have the option to receive training to be a bench hand joiner as well as having the opportunity to use their woodworking machinery which includes, CNC Nesting Machine, Edge bander, CNC drilling machine amongst others.This is an opportunity to be involved in the use of heavy duty wood working equipment, cutting and edging component parts for candidates to assemble at their work bench.Role Requirements

  • A clean Driving license.
  • Experience of working in a warehouse.
  • Fork Truck license is preferred but not essential.
  • Keen to learn and acquire new skills.
Role Responsibilities
  • Using a forklift truck to move stock around the workshop (training provided)
  • Unloading deliveries and logging stock into our system.
  • Loading our delivery vans with finished products ready to go into the main distribution centre of our client.
  • Loading off cuts of wood into our furnace to get rid of waste we produce without having the need for skips.
  • Cleaning down, snagging and wrapping finished products ready for delivery.
  • Ensuring that the workshop floor is free from debris and dust.
  • Helping out with machining of our products (training provided)
  • Basic joinery work.
