Colas Contracting have been awarded first place on National Highways VRS works in the North Super Region along with second place on their Central Super Region for the new six-year Scheme Delivery Framework (SDF). The North and Central Super Region have anestimated value of £92 million over the six years, and with the maximum value awarded to a single contractor on the SDF at £144 million, this places Colas in a prominent position with National Highways. The supervisor will provide leadership and direction to the VRS operatives ensuring the safeand efficient delivery of the VRS works. The Ideal CandidateApplicants will have an NVQ Level 2 in VRS Installation or similar qualification, a Blue FISS/CSCS Card with a proven track record working on local authority and National Highways contracts. An SMSTS or SSSTS card is essential along with knowledge of temporarytraffic management safety barrier installation design. The ideal candidate will have significant, demonstrable experience of working on high speed networks giving you experience of working on National Highways MAC / ASC and Local Authority contracts.
