Job Description

Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has locum roles for a User Researcher in Liverpool. Role is currently full time working from home but occasional travel to the service may be required in the future.The pay rate for this User Researcher roles is £700 per day and they have an initial 6-month contract.Main Duties:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and advocate appropriate research strategies to understand user needs for a service.
  • Design, plan, and conduct user research activities to enable the development and continuous improvement of digital services and ensure user needs are understood.
  • Implement / and apply policies and controls to ensure research is conducted in a legal and ethical way, aligning to government good practice (e.g. obtaining consents), and ensuring that research findings are stored and managed appropriately (e.g. complyingwith GDPR).
  • Analyse and use research data to synthesise findings so research is shareable and traceable. Help to prioritise customer needs challenging assumptions when necessary.
Requirements of the User Researchers:
  • Has knowledge, experience in and a passion for user-centred design and experience of applying this to services or products.
  • Has experience of designing, facilitating and analysing a range of qualitative and quantitative user research methods, and an understanding of the strengths and limitations of different research methods.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate dated within the last 12 months is desirable but not essential
