Job Description

Tutor/Assessor - Health and Social Care

  • Location - North West
  • Hours/Contract - Full time, Permanent
  • Salary - Up to £23,000 dependant on experience
    • We are currently working with a fast-growing training company based in the North West who are recruiting multiple roles including candidates who have experience in assessing qualifications for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People (CYPW).If you have assessor experience along with vocational training experience, we have a new job role that will be of interest you.Following business growth, the company you will be working for is recruiting additional tutors to deliver accredited vocational training programmes for learners based in the North West. The salary for these positions is up to £23,000 per year, based on 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.You will support learners at all stages of the learning cycle from initial engagement through to progression into work and further learning. It will be work-based learning, and you will meet with your students monthly.To apply for these Tutor / Assessor roles, you will require the following:
  • Experience as a Tutor / Assessor in either Health and Social Care OR Children and Young People (CYPW) sectors
  • A recognised training qualification (TAQA, A1 assessor award, D32 / D33 award)
  • Functional Skills L2 in English and Maths, or equivalents
  • Satisfactory references and DBS checks
  • Previous experience in a similar assessing role (one-year minimum)
  • Your car (mileage will be paid monthly)
