Job Description

Tutor / Assessor - Children and Young People (CYPW)

  • Up to £25,000 dependant on experience
  • If you have Children and Young People assessor experience along with vocational training experience, we have a new job role that will be of interest you.Following business growth, the company you will be working for is recruiting additional tutors to deliver accredited vocational training programmes in Liverpool, Merseyside and the surrounding areas. The salary for these positions is up to £25,000 per year, based on 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.In this full-time role, you will work with students engaged in the Children and Young People Residential sector, helping them achieve Levels 2, 3 and 5 within the new professional Apprenticeship Standards qualifications. You will support learners at all stages of the learning cycle from initial engagement through to progression into work and further learning. It will be work-based learning, and you will meet with your students monthly.To apply for these CYPW roles, you will require the following:
  • A recognised training qualification (TAQA, A1 assessor award, D32 / D33 award)
  • Functional Skills L2 in English and Maths, or equivalents
  • Satisfactory references and DBS checks
  • Previous experience in a similar assessing role (one-year minimum)
  • Your car (mileage will be paid monthly)
