Job Description

We are working with a successful financial services business in Liverpool to recruit a Treasury Analyst to join the team.Client DetailsThis PLC organisation is one of the leading financial services firms in its sector and boasts an enviable reputation. They are renowned for offering a flexible working pattern which allows for a strong work life balance, as well as excellent training andsupport to develop its people.DescriptionAs Treasury Analyst, your role is to calculate and report on all treasury and prudential exposure to various stakeholders in the business. As well as reporting on relevant MI, you will reconcile all position and prepare regulatory returns for core metrics.Other duties will include:

  • Operational support through reporting on cash positions and identifying movements ensuring all activity is settled in a timely manner
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of exposures to various investment limits
  • Maintaining cashflow forecasts for the group, sorting out due dates and managing payment requests
  • Reporting treasury exposures to enable the calculation of IFRS 9 provisions
  • Reporting any risk positions to stakeholders with commentaries
  • Reconciliation of regulatory positions including capital requirements, leverage and liquidity
  • Assisting in the production of annual ILAAP, LCP and funding plans
  • Preparing data and analysis to produce MI on monthly banking risk exposures
  • Performing process checks, and reviewing the accuracy and assumption and controls in place
  • Due diligence on CASS counterparties
ProfileFor the Treasury Analyst role you must have:
  • Experience working in a treasury environment
  • Achieved or working towards ACT qualification or similar
  • Experience of working with CRR regulatory returns and prudential reporting
  • Able to work as part of a team, and also self motivated to work autonomously
  • Strong communication skills and able to build relationships with various stakeholders across all levels
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for detail to identify and investigate movements
  • Effective problem solving skills and able to tackle challenging issues
